1. Information We Collect
fantasy collects and stores the following data only when actively used by server administrators:
Discord User & Server Data
- User IDs
- Server (Guild) IDs
- Usernames & Display Names
- Avatar URLs
- Channel IDs
- Role IDs
External API Data
- Twitch API Access: When you use ~twitchwhois, ~twitchlive, or ~twitchavatar, we query Twitch's API with the login name you provide. Twitch receives this request and may log it per their privacy policy.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use collected data for:
- Operating and improving the Bot's features.
- Managing game state, scores, and leaderboards.
- Enforcing whitelists and access controls.
- Processing moderation actions.
- Posting announcements.
- Authenticating and verifying users.
- Providing user-requested commands (Twitch lookups, user profiles).
We do not:
- Sell or share data with third parties.
- Use data for advertising or marketing.
- Store message content beyond what is necessary for the specific feature.
- Track user behavior across servers.
Data Retention:
- Game scores: Retained indefinitely (or until server removes the bot).
- Bans: Retained indefinitely for historical tracking.
- Verification state: Cleared when user leaves server or server removes bot.
- RPS games: Cleared when games complete.
- Twitch cache: Updated on each poll cycle; old entries removed when streams go offline.
4. Data Access & Deletion
Who Can Access:
- Server administrators (can view whitelists, scores, and configuration via commands).
- Bot operator for debugging and maintenance.
- Discord: If required by legal process or ToS violation investigation.
How to Delete Data:
Request Full Deletion: Contact [email protected] with your server ID to request purge of all associated data files.
5. Third-Party Services
Twitch API:
When you use Twitch-related commands, your query is sent to Twitch, Inc. Twitch may log API requests per their privacy policy.
We do not control Twitch's data handling; review their privacy policy at twitch.tv/legal
Discord:
The bot operates within Discord's ecosystem. Discord collects and processes data per their privacy policy: discord.com/privacy
6. Children's Privacy
The bot is not directed to children under 13. If we learn a user is under 13, we will remove their data upon request. Discord itself requires users to be 13+ per their ToS.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy at any time. Continued use of the bot after updates constitutes acceptance.
